Responded to fireplace having cycling issues. Customer stated he could get pilot lit and stay lit. When flipping switch on wall burners would not ignite. Attempted startup. Pilot had no issues lighting. Upon flipping switch burner ignited properly. Cycled burner multiple times with customer present. Advised customer issue seems intermittent, could be issue with switch or gas valve. Offered switch replacement as preemptive measure. Customer stated he will let go for now since fireplace is working. Will call back if issues persist.
In Winchester, OH, I diagnosed a furnace with a bad blower motor, which was causing the system to fail. Due to the age and condition of the unit, I provided an estimate for the cost of installing a new furnace to ensure reliable heating.

Performed yearly maintenance and safety checks on 18 rheem furnace. 15 kw heat kit pulling 20 kw each. 30/50 deltat. . 45 voltage absorption system reading 44.1. Found transformer warm to touch. Making buzzing noises. Customer will consult with husband and call back if wanting to move forward.
Cost to install air condition and furnace. Cost to install heat pump to get the tax credit.
Performed furnace check on Lennox furnace. Customer had inspector list issues that needed address. Inspector noticed water leaking onto condensation line. Water leaking from suction line having roughly 1 inch of uninsulated pipe. Was able to manipulate insulation to cover line completely. Customer also had concerns with calcification and rust on burners inducer motor and flue pipe. Parts on order, should receive parts within 3-7 business days. Will return when parts arrive to replace corroded parts. 3 ppm co in flu. 10 %o2. Cleaned flame sensor. Will return as soon as possible to make corrections Returned to complete furnace repair. Replaced burners, inducer motor/adapter and flu pipe. Started furnace to confirm operation and saftey. Unit running with 7.2o2 68 degree deltat. No issues upon departure.

Responded to no heat thermostat calling for heat. 66 in home 73 set temperature. Found code 32 for pressure switch found inducer pulling 0-3 inWC customer has exterior of home being panted. Painters covered up concentric kit not allowing proper exhaust. Removed cover per customers request to restore heat. Furnace cycled on properly without fault. 0 ppm co in supply. Dirty 16254 filter. Replaced 10/15. replaced customer supplied filter. No further issues.
Returned to repair. Replace blower motor and control board. Further diagnostics found identity chip faulty no allowing proper communication with blower motor. Replaced chip furnace cycled on properly. Running with 11%o2. 14 ppm co in flu. 0 ppm co in supply. 46 degree dletat. No further issues at this time.
Called in morning to quote for repair blower motor power choke and possible board. Replaced blower motor. New motor has different wiring connections as well as smaller plug not able to be used power choke also not able to be connected. No paperwork with blower. When installed blower would not operate from board. Will need to double check parts Monday and require at that point.

Upon arrival customer stated it had started running. Found furnace running. Cycled furnace several times to find no fault occurring. Found charred/weak flame sensing system. Presented options hm15a-e. Customer chose option a. Performed repair and cycled furnace. System running with 10.5% o2. 12 ppm co in flu. 0 ppm co in supply. 45 degree deltat clean 16251 filter. Found floor drain to be clogged advised may want plumber to look at drains. Strong Oder coming from drain.
Performed yearly maintenance and safety checks on 2020 Bryant furnace in attic. Furnace is running with 10.1%o2. 9 ppm so in flu. 49 ohm igntion system 45 degree dletat. Furnace cycled into second stage properly.system running with 7.5%o2. 33 ppmco in flu. 0 ppm co in supply. Cleaned flame sensor. Customer maintains 16254 filter. Also performed yearly maintenance and safety checks on 20 Bryant furnace in basement. Previous technician mentioned excess noise in motor. Found noise to be associated with airflow in filter cabinet. After Removing filter noise stops. Furnace running with 12.4%o2. 20 ppm co in flu. 34 degree deltat. Furnace cycled into second stage properly. Running with 7.5% o2 48 ppm co in flu. 0 ppm co in supply. 50 degree deltat.
Thermostat indicating call for cooling. Found code 3 for pressure switch stuck open. Reset control board. Made call for heating. Found inducer motor having issues running. Motor not seized. Seems as if something holding wheel from spinning removed motor to loom for critters. Founs bead of caulk stuck around blower wheel. Attempted to remove foreign object Unsuccessfully messed with wheel to try to free motor. Cannot remove object. Called for pricing and Availability for motor and pressure switches. Not in stock. Presented hm7 with possibility of returning for repair Tuesday or Wednesday cust9mer not ready for repair and will call next week to schedule repair.
Performed yearly maintenance and safety checks on 1998 Bryant furnace. Found dry bearing noise associated with inducer. Found ignition system reading 90 ohms. Also found voltage absorption system outside manufacture specifications.customer wants to wait issues out and address when fault occurs also Performed maintenance on 2017 rheem furnace. Found 40/5 voltage absorption system reading 40/5 cleaned coil. No concerns at this time.
Completed annual maintenance on a 2021 comfortmaker furnace. And during testing of the unit the technician found no electrical protection device, the air filter to be installed incorrectly, and ductwork to have large amounts of dust/hair build up. Customer not interested in electrical protection device at this time. Technician left fresh air corporation information for duct cleaning, as well as iwave information for air cleaner. Customer may call back at a later time for the install. Technician left filter beside unit as filter has recently been changed, and created inspection hole for combustion analysis. No issues at time of departure.
