Performed yearly maintenance and safety checks on Rheem air conditioning system. Found 66 RA 45 SA found 70/10 voltage absorption system reading 70/10. Found 188-227 hard start reading 212. Found no sign of overheating or pitting inside disconnect or voltage distribution system. Informed customer of surge protection system. Customer stated he has house protection. No concerns at this time.

Performed yearly maintenance and safety checks on 2020 Bryants air handler heat pump. Found voted absorption system within manufacturer specifications rated 45/5 reading 45/5. No sign of overheating or pitting in disconnect or on voltage distribution system. No surge protection on system. HB7 custoemr chose option a. No further concerns at this time.

Customer chose option b. Found thermostat not ‘emergency heat operational. As well as when calling for heat. Only electric heat will operate. Customer stated he’s never known heat pump to run in winter and stated he bought a cover. Explain to customer that cover will restrict airflow putting tremendous amount of stress on compressor however with current stat situation customer might have been lucky with not running compressor while covered.
